Why We Love It: Iron heart has long been known for their beautiful fabrics, and this long awaited slubby beast is no exception! Iron Heart’s take on the classic Type II jacket is slightly longer in the body and less boxy than the original to make it a modern classic. This combo of Type II and their brand new slubby 16oz fabric makes it a marvel to behold! To create this black version, Iron Heart has dyed the entire garment post-construction in black sulpher dye. This means that the indigo fabric, stitching, and hardware are all stained by black dye leading to much slower & more mellow fades over time.
Details: Indigo rope dyed warp & weft overdyed with black sulphur dye, contrast stitching and bar tacks, Iron Heart branded tack buttons, two chest flap pockets with tack button fastenings, single and double needle stitch construction, internal felled seams, selvedge placket ID, hem cinches with tack button fastenings, poly/cotton constructional stitching, sanforized & overdyed (the overdyeing process takes out all remaining shrinkage).
Fit: Slightly longer in the body and less boxy than the original Type II. This fits small, we recommend sizing up or sticking to your normal Iron Heart size.

Shipping costs for Canada are $22, with free shipping on orders over $300. Express shipping is available for $31. In the United States, regular shipping is $30 and also free for orders over $300, while express shipping is $40. For all orders in Alaska and Hawaii, a flat rate of $50 USD applies.
