We ship worldwide via Canada Post, UPS and Purolator, all of which are world-class postal/courier services. International shipments are delivered by national postal services (i.e. USPS, Royal Mail) and the EMS courier service. Please note that at this time, we do not ship to PO boxes.

We aim to ship all orders within 2 business days. Orders may be delayed by factors outside of our control. dutil. Denim Shop is not responsible for any losses, delays and/or damage caused in-transit by the postal service, courier, or customs agencies. Please note that orders with alterations will require a few extra days to process.

In Store Pick-Ups


Good news to our loyal fans in Toronto and Vancouver. We're now offering in-store pick-up, by popular request. Our 30 day Online Exchange Policy remains in effect from purchase to pick-up and will not be extended for those who choose to pick-up at the end of the 30 day policy. 

To choose an in store pick-up, make your purchase as you normally would and select "In Store Pick-Up" at checkout - We'll send you an email when it's ready to be picked up. By choosing this option, you agree to pick-up your parcel in-store within one month of purchase unless other arrangements have been made via 




Purchases to be delivered within British Columbia are subject to 7% PST + 5% GST, all other destinations within Canada are subject to their provincial tax rate. 


All orders to be delivered outside of Canada are tax-free at the time of purchase.

International orders may be subject to duty and/or taxes levied by the importing country. By placing an order with dutil. Denim Shop, you acknowledge that you understand this and that you are responsible for any such charges. Some packages my receive brokerage charges from UPS/Purolator. Should you refuse to pay these charges, your order will be returned to dutil. Denim Shop and your account will be credited according to our return policy (see below) less any shipping and import fees associated with the return.

Typically, shipments will arrive within 14-21 business days, but can occasionally take much longer due to your location, or if the package is held at customs. Please refer to the tracking number provided before contacting with regards to your shipment 


Exchange Policy 

We are happy to exchange your purchase provided it is returned in its original condition along with your receipt within 7 days of buying the item, and that item was not purchased on sale. All exchanges for online purchases must be approved by dutil. prior to returning the item. Online customers must place their exchange request within 7 days of receiving their purchase from the carrier. Online purchases can not be exchanged in store at this time. We do not offer full refunds for merchandise- you can return items for an exchange or store credits only.   

If you need to exchange for an item of lesser value, the difference will be applied towards store credit for your next purchase. If the exchanged item is of greater value than your original purchase, you will be responsible for paying the difference.

Please allow 1.5 inches of shrinkage in length for raw denim and half an inch for washed denim. 

All discounted, altered and hemmed products are final sales. All orders purchased at a discount or on sale are final sale.

Defective Items

Items that are deemed defective within a reasonable time frame will be considered for an exchange if a proof of purchase is provided. Please email with a detailed description of the problem along with all necessary photos.

Quick Exchange (Online)

For the fastest service, please click on the Size Exchange Request button at the bottom of the page and send your request for a quick exchange. Once permission for your exchange has been granted, place a new order online. We'll ship your new item right away. We will need to charge you on the purchase price and shipping, but once we receive your return, we will credit you for the cost of the original item. All exchanges will be inspected for odour, stains, demarcations and other signs of wear before being accepted. Please allow 1 full business day for us to respond to your request.

Shipping on Exchanged Items

The customer is responsible for paying for shipping costs for the returned item, as well as a $15 Flat Rate fee to ship the new product for items under $250. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

The time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your exchanged item.
